1. Definitions

- Services – Refers to all moving, packing, storage, relocation, and associated services provided by the Company
2. Use of Website
You agree to use our website lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site
- Transmit any viruses or malicious software
- Copy, modify, or distribute site content without permission
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access if any misuse is detected.
3. Booking and Service Confirmation
- All service bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- A booking is confirmed only after a written or verbal agreement and may include a deposit or written confirmation from us.
- You must provide accurate and complete information (moving location, item list, date, etc.). Any changes may affect the pricing and availability.
4. Pricing and Payments
- Prices are quoted based on the scope of work and the provided information.
- Additional charges may apply for delays, extra items, stairs, parking issues, or incomplete information.
- Payment terms will be shared at the time of booking. We accept cash, bank transfers, or other approved payment methods.
- All payments must be made in full as agreed. We reserve the right to withhold services in case of non-payment.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- You may cancel your booking with at least 24 hours’ notice at no charge.
- Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee to cover costs already incurred.
- No refund will be issued once the moving process has started unless agreed upon under exceptional circumstances.
6. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring that all items are ready for packing/moving at the agreed time
- Informing us of any fragile, valuable, or sensitive items
- Providing clear access to the pickup and delivery locations
- Obtaining necessary permits (if applicable) for building or community access
- Supervising the process or assigning a responsible person in your absence
7. Insurance and Liability
A. Basic Handling
We take the utmost care in moving your belongings. However, in the unlikely event of damage or loss:
- The company’s liability is limited to the cost of the service or repair/replacement of damaged items up to a capped value (as agreed during booking).
- We are not responsible for damages due to poor packing (by the client), hidden defects, or unreported fragile items.
B. Insurance
- Comprehensive insurance is not included by default. You may request separate insurance coverage, subject to an additional charge.
- Items of extraordinary value (jewelry, cash, legal documents) must not be included in the move.
8. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited from being packed or moved by us:
- Flammable liquids or gases
- Explosives, firearms, or ammunition
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Perishable food or plants (unless discussed and agreed)
- Animals (except where Pet Relocation is specifically arranged)
9. Delays and Force Majeure
Movers and Packers DXB is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Traffic conditions, weather, or road closures
- Building management issues or access restrictions
- Strikes, protests, or acts of God (force majeure)
We will always aim to communicate and resolve any delays in a timely manner.
10. Subcontracting
We reserve the right to subcontract all or part of any services. Subcontractors will be bound by similar confidentiality and service quality terms.
11. Storage Services
If you opt for temporary or long-term storage:
- We offer climate-controlled and secure storage solutions
- Access to stored items requires prior notice
- Late payments on storage may result in access denial or disposal (with due notice)
- Items stored beyond the agreed period will incur extra charges
12. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service under the following conditions:
- Abusive or threatening behavior by the client
- Suspicion of illegal goods or activities
- Failure to pay or confirm service terms
13. Intellectual Property
All website content, images, logos, service descriptions, and design elements are the property of Movers and Packers DXB. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.
14. Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect and use personal data. By using our site and services, you consent to our data practices as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Movers and Packers DXB shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Any loss of data, income, or business arising out of service delays or issues
- Errors in information provided by the client
- Issues arising due to third-party involvement or client’s failure to follow instructions
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Dubai courts.
17. Amendments to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance.
